After an unforgettable day return to Enchanted April Inn in Coloma for an evening of restful repose.
Dreams really do come true!

Little did I know that Enchanted April Inn was the perfect location for our 3 days of exciting adventures. The Inn is located close to some really interesting towns, and there are plenty of wineries along the way to explore. Great restaurants and lovely country drives were just a small part of what we experienced. My wife loved the shopping and I got to taste some great micro-brews too. At the end of each day we sat on the porch rockers and just took in the scenery. Perfect!

We recently spent an early spring weekend here- though both of us couples lived less than an hour away; we found this inn to be very comfortable and relaxing. The furnishings are lovely, and there is obvious attention to detail, from the comfortable chairs and luxurious linens, to the table settings. Elke was an attentive innkeeper and helpful without being obtrusive. We stayed here as a jumping off point to do some local wine tasting. The surrounding area is some of the most beautiful in the Sierra foothills, beautiful rolling hills a, horse farms, and small towns. Oh, and the place is spotless!

It's a lovely large "Country Farm House" with a feeling of quiet English taste but the best part are the horses. They accommodate horses and out your window in the morning are the white fences and grazing beauties. The owner is a wonderful hostess. Never in the way, but you want for nothing. I was there with a group of riders and we did wonderful day trips to fabulous trails. We went in April (coincidence) and although it was an unusually rainy couple of days, we got some fabulous rides in by the American River and it was lovely to come home to wine, hot tea and a welcome smile.

Enchanted April is a beautiful, charming and relaxing B&B. We were so relaxed by the beauty surrounding the Inn. We were treated wonderfully by Elke. Having coffee overlooking the pond and the beautiful gardens was heaven. We especially enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub after a day of wine tasting and shopping.

Gorgeous property, wonderful host Elke, impeccably clean, quiet and relaxing. Stayed here just one night...will be back for two next time, as this is a perfect spot to stay to explore the gold country or paddle the south fork. Nearby are several good restaurants to choose from: upon Elke's suggestion, we chose Sierra Nevada House and enjoyed the outdoor seating and live music on Friday night. Try the two seater hot tub and enjoy the starlit sky...
